Our New Year Celebration started as soon as our family people started joining us from 25th Dec. Cruise booking was done for the Christmas day and we boarded as scheduled towards Mumbai High Seas. We were 10 people all together till New year to enjoy and just masti all time...Our cruise crossed borderline within waters...reached International waters-20 nautical miles from Indian waters...to play casino :) as it's not legal in India, Although overall we lose money at Casino :( Still we were partying the entire day on Cruise and returned by night on the mumbai sea shore thats called "Ferry wharf".
We have new plans for each day to enjoy till new year. After enjoying Mumbai night life...we headed towards Bordii beach, Dahanu towards NH-8. Had one night stay at the beach side, to free from hangover we had "neera" in the morning thats equal to "taadi" which is extracted from coconut tree. Then we moved towards Mumbai and took break in Manor- "Silent Valley Resort".
One of the group had a days rest in Mumbai and the other group headed to Mahabaleshwar. On 31st we two along with Harshika and Brajesh moved towards Ratnagiri which is located 350 km from mumbai towards Goa. Ratnagiri is a beautiful place on Konkan belt, Near to that is situated Ganpatipule, one of the Ashta-vinayak temple. In Ratnagiri we had Raymonds Holiday Beautiful Resort, on beach side, booked by Brajesh our friend who is Raymonds Employee. The other group joined us on 31st night. It was indeed a Lavish experience alongwith 31st night party, feeling like home, Konkani home cooked food speciality, Indoor games-TT & carrom was played with a mild voice of sea shore nearby.
On visit to ganpatipule, it really felt like heaven to all of us. Sea was damn cool and amazingly pure and beautiful with green water and white sand. First time on such a silent beach we had swimmimg experience and tried floating in the sea. On return, the natures beauty grasped all our tiredness and we had a wonderful long drive.
